Acknowledgement of sundry

I’ve found myself travelling around the country in recent weeks and i have to say that it is truly inspiring to see the dozens of people I have met who strive to improve health outcomes for Aboriginal people. They go about their work with care, passion and without glory.

People from different backgrounds who by either by choice or circumstance find themselves at the frontline of the ongoing crisis that is Aboriginal health. Their work will go unheralded, you won’t read about it in the media, but know that they are in their thousands and they labor through the drudgery of antiquated systems and convoluted bureaucracies to save and enhance life. 

I salute them.
