Neil Young Le Noise – Review
Recorded in Lanois’ home studio in Los Angeles over four full moon periods, we hear Young’s material in full raw anger and beauty. Despite the multi layered and reinvested “black dub” production we get a real glimpse of Young’s reflections and statements at their inception. Despite the entire album comprising of only Young and a guitar, none of the songs feel as though they need a band arrangement. Continue reading
