Very sorry about this, I just realised that having posted my predictions for 2010, my predictions for 2009 for some technical reason haven’t been posted. I think my dog must have ate the send button. I don’t really pay attention to news and stuff like that, so I don’t know whether the following have been proven correct or not to be honest I don’t care. I’m all about the future, so here are my predictions for 2009.

In 2009 the global economy went to the dogs like a an emptied $30 trillion can of Pal dumped on an ant ridden, sun drenched back step and devoured viciously by a pair of flea bitten blue heeler crossed mongrels who hadn’t had a feed in two weeks, the only certainty in this scenario is that the ants are going to get it one way or another!

Talkback has the capacity to shape the national agenda. The most pertinent example of this is the topic of asylum seekers. Both sides of the political spectrum in Australia, are captives to the immediate firestorm generated, to a large part, by talkback radio. It is during debates like this that even the talkback presenters lose control of the debate and the masses take over.
